Terms of Service
Plain-language terms for using Cadely.
These Terms of Service govern your use of Cadely — the baby tracking app made by Cadely Famille Inc. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. We've kept them as readable as possible.
01
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Cadely, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
If you're using Cadely on behalf of a family or household, you represent that you have the authority to agree to these terms on behalf of that group.
02
Eligibility and User Accounts
Cadely is intended for use by adults — parents, guardians, and caregivers. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you should have permission from a parent or guardian.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us at support@getcadely.com right away.
03
Description of the Service
Cadely is a baby tracking application that helps parents and caregivers log and monitor their baby's daily activities. Features include:
- Feeding tracking — breastfeeding, bottle, and formula
- Sleep tracking
- Diaper change logging
- Pumping sessions
- Growth measurements
- General daily activity notes
- Caregiver invitations and shared baby profiles
Cadely is available on iOS. Features may be added, changed, or removed over time as the app evolves.
04
Caregiver Invitations and Shared Profiles
Cadely allows you to invite other caregivers — such as a co-parent, grandparent, or nanny — to view and contribute to your baby's profile. When you send an invitation, you are responsible for ensuring that the person you invite has consented to being added.
As the account holder who created the baby profile, you control who has access. You can revoke caregiver access at any time from within the app. Invited caregivers agree to these Terms of Service by accepting an invitation and using the app.
05
User Responsibilities
When using Cadely, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information when setting up your account and baby profiles
- Use the app only for its intended purpose — tracking baby care activities
- Not share your account with people outside your household or caregiving circle
- Not attempt to access, interfere with, or disrupt any part of the service or its infrastructure
- Not use the app for any unlawful purpose
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the service or violate these terms.
06
User Content
You own the data you enter into Cadely. We don't claim any ownership over the tracking events, notes, or baby information you create.
By using Cadely, you grant us a limited license to store, sync, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating the service for you. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for ensuring that any content you add does not violate the rights of others.
07
Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. By using Cadely, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.
08
Medical Disclaimer
Cadely is a tracking and logging tool — it is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or any healthcare recommendations.
Nothing in Cadely should be interpreted as medical guidance. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional — such as your pediatrician or family doctor — regarding any health concerns about your baby.
Tracking data in the app is intended to help you stay organized and informed, not to replace professional medical judgment.
09
Service Availability
We work hard to keep Cadely running reliably, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, or circumstances outside our control.
We are not liable for any inconvenience or loss resulting from temporary service interruptions.
10
Intellectual Property
Cadely, including its name, logo, design, software, and all content created by us, is the property of Cadely Famille Inc. and is protected by copyright and other applicable laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of Cadely without our written permission. Your license to use the app is personal, non-transferable, and limited to the terms described here.
11
Limitation of Liability
Cadely is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cadely Famille Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data or reliance on information recorded in the app.
Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Cadely will not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or CAD $50, whichever is greater.
12
Termination
You can stop using Cadely and delete your account at any time. To delete your account, go to Edit Profile in the app and select the account deletion option. All your data will be permanently removed from our systems.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Cadely if you violate these terms, misuse the service, or engage in behavior that harms other users or our infrastructure. Where possible, we'll give you notice before taking action.
13
Changes to the Service
We're always working to improve Cadely. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We'll do our best to communicate significant changes through the app or via email when they affect how you use it.
14
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page and notify you through the app or by email if the changes are material.
Continuing to use Cadely after updated terms take effect means you accept the new terms. If you don't agree with a change, you can delete your account before it takes effect.
15
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Cadely will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Province of Quebec, Canada.
